Doris Miller Garrick, 71, wife of the late William Joseph (Joe) Garrick for fifty years, of 110 Regis Drive, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2009.
Mrs. Garrick was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late Cyral C. and Minnie W. Miller. She was a devoted member of Wren Baptist Church and was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.
Surviving are her two daughters, Kathy Hutchison (Darrell) and Kelly Wilson (Darrin); her son, William Joseph (Jody) Garrick, Jr.; two brothers, Jimmy (Shirley) and Steve Miller; her twin sister, Daisy Smith (Leonard); five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Wren Baptist Church with the Reverend Harold Sanders officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family is at the residence. They will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Wren Baptist Church - Building Fund, 120 Wren Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
