Doris Weldon King, 70, widow of Herman King, died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Hospice House of Anderson. A native of Anderson she was the daughter of the late Will S. and Mamie Swaney Weldon. She worked at Garrett's in Clemson and also at Bill's Café in LaFrance.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl King of the home; a sister, Annie Duncan of Pendleton; a special friend, Louise Brown and a grandog, 'Bear.'
Funeral services will be 3pm Tuesday at Faith Fellowship Church in Pendleton with burial to follow at Memory Gardens, The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central where the family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm and will be placed in the church at 2pm Tuesday. The family is at 842 Crouch Lane, Pendleton, SC 29670.
