Mrs. Doris Ann Keown Lesley, 87, of 159 Zion Church Road, Easley, dedicated, loving wife and mother, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Lesley was born in Greenville, SC on February 3, 1928 to the late Dr. Albert James and Annie Mae Raines Keown. She was a homemaker, and loved to cook and spend time with her family. Doris was an active member of Zion United Methodist Church, where she was a past president of the U.M.W. and taught Sunday School in the Children's Department. She was also very active with church functions, and would always cook for the church dinners.

Mrs. Lesley is survived by four sons; Hugh Kilby Lesley, Jr. of Easley; Steven C. Lesley (Vetta), of Easley; D. Kent Lesley (Judy), of Summerville, SC; and Reggie Lesley (Suzy), of Easley; and three daughters; Cynthia Ann Wood (Rev. Walter E. Jr.), of Greer; Teresa Lynne Kelly (Dave), of Easley; and Pamela Jane Zambetti (Victor), of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by two brothers; Dr. William F. Keown (Rosemary), of Belton; Albert James Keown, Jr., of Bradenton, Florida; a sister-in-law, Jean Keown of Easley; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband; Hugh Kilby Lesley; a brother; Robert Harvey Keown; and a sister; Betty Lou Hendricks.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Zion United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, 305 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at the residence.

Flowers are optional, or the family asks that memorial donations be made to Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 432 Zion Church Road, Easley, SC 29642.
