Mrs. Doris Mullinax Vinson Minyard, 87, wife of the late Otis Heyward Vinson and the late Dan Harold Minyard, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Toccoa, GA, the daughter of the late Willis Martin and Lillian Burton Mullinax, Mrs. Minyard was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Toccoa, GA.

Surviving are a son, Keith H. Vinson (Cathy) of Easley; a daughter, Beverly Butler of Mauldin; a brother, Guy N. Mullinax of Clermont, GA; four  grandchildren, Kim Miller, Jeff Butler, Andrew Vinson and Jacob Vinson; and six great-grandchildren, Cody Finley, Mackenzie Miller, Dalton Miller, Keaton Miller, Bryce Butler and Logan Butler.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 2, 2016 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Phillip McAlister officiating. A private committal service will held Monday in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Family members are at their respective homes.

The family would like to express their gratitude to her grandson, Cody Finley, for the love and care he provided for his grandmother.
