Doris R. Porter, 77, of 150 Bluebird Lane passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010.
Mrs. Porter was a daughter of the late Adam D. and Florence Holland Rollins. She was retired from Pratt Reed and was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son Patrick R. Summey of Townville; step-sons Samuel W. Porter Jr. of Tamassee, Ralph Porter of Seneca and Danny Wilson of Easley. Step-daughters; B.J. Lesh of Belton, Gail Nicholson and Charlotte Evatt of Pickens and one brother Gene Rollins of Liberty. A special niece, Reba Simpson and a number of grandchildren and great granchildren.
Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by husbands; John Pat Summey, James Junior Stephens and Walker Samuel Porter, a daughter; Janice Lorane Summey, brothers; Ramsey, Welton, A.D. Jr, Harold, Holland and Marion Rollins and a sister Lois Madden.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday July 1, 2010 in the chapel of Duckett Robinson Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Randy Perry. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
The family wil be at the home of Ricky Summey, 104 Chicoma Dr. Townville SC 29689.
