Doris Evangeline Owen Ramp, 89, of 1616 Davis Creek Road, died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at her residence.
Born in Andes, NY, she was a daughter of the late Beatrice Jones Owen and George H. Owen, Jr. She was a retired secretary of the Math Department and SUNY State University of NY, Delhi and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Seneca.
Surviving are sons, Fred (Patricia) Ramp of Liberty and Roland (Sandra) Ramp of Unadilla, NY; daughter, Sharon (Frank) Lane of Pendleton; grandchildren, Patrick Ramp, Derek and Karla (Dale Thomas) Ramp, Lora (Kelly) Roth and Julie (Nathan) Cox; great grandchildren, Hudson Thomas, Logan Roth, Gabriel Roth, Kellen Roth and Lane Cox; and a soon to be born great-granddaughter that will bear her name; siblings, Margaret (Carl) Sanford, Evelyn Fingado, Nelson (Mary) Owen, Ferol Coonradt, Richard (Barbara) Owen and Robert Knapp; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by dear friend, Anthony Paulaitis.
Memorial Services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC, with Rev. James Morgan officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
An inurnment service will be held at a later date in Andes Cemetery, Andes, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, OMH Foundation, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672 www.oconeemed.org/hospice.
