Doris Ashley Rowland, 89, of Greenville, widow of John William Rowland, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late James Sloan and Annie Martin Ashley.

She was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church.

Surviving are her two daughters, Jan Rowland Scarborough and her husband Barry, and Shelia Rowland Gantt and her husband Wesley, all of Easley; a sister, Dixie Ashley Henderson (Boots); grandchildren, Kristin Gantt Gillespie (Jimmy), Keri Gantt, Travis Scarborough (Pamela), and Stacy Scarborough Huff (Zach); 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with a special family of caregivers at Oakview Park Senior Living.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Ashley Burton.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 17, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Monday from 11:00am - 12:45pm at the funeral home.
