Doris Hortense Small of Central wife of the late LeRoy Small passed March 10, 2020 at Cannon Memorial Hospital. She was born July 17, 1927 in Augusta, Maine and was the daughter of the late Charles and Nettie Douglass.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son Allan Small and three sisters, Evelyn Belmonte, Lena Bernier and Verna Williams.
She is survived by a daughter, Bernice Whitaker and husband, Donnie and a son, Lester Small and wife, Carol of LeLand, NC; two sisters, Beatrice Pulsifer of Florida, and Barbara Douglass of California; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
A private gathering of family will be held in Maine at a later date.
