Mrs. Doris Floyd Smith, 93, wife of the late Monta "Monty" Parrish Smith, Sr., passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at McCall Hospice House, Simpsonville.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Charles Enoch and Mae DeLong Floyd, Mrs. Smith retired from textiles and was a member of First Baptist Church, Easley.
Surviving are two sons, Monta "Monty" Parrish Smith, Jr. (Evonne) and Ronald Gratin Smith (Carol), both of Easley; one brother, Richard Floyd of Cross Hill, SC; one sister, Sara Gillespie of Easley; four granchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Smith was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Westview Cemetery, Easley, with the Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Easley, 300 East First Avenue, Easley, SC 29640.
The family is at the residence.
