Doris Chastain Suddeth, 75, of 798 Griffin Mill Road and wife of Melvin E. Suddeth, went to be with the Lord Tuesday December 24, 2013 at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Suddeth was born in Pickens County, SC, the daughter of the late J.T. and Irene Crowe Chastain. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabor United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 59 years, are a son, Melvin Scott Suddeth, of Easley; two daughters, Judy S. Jenkins (Tommy), of Liberty and Sheila Suddeth, of Easley; a sister, Margaret Kennemer (Jerry), of Mauldin; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Roger Gwinn officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
