Doris Ruth Suttles

Doris Ruth Suttles, 80, of Easley, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017.

Born in Greer, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Manning and Pauline Howard Cureton. Doris retired from Kemet Electronics after 30+ years of service. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Vollie Suttles and one brother.

Surviving are three children, Jean Blackwell (George), of Taylors; Vonda Merck (Gary), of Easley; and Steve Suttles, of Packs Mtn., SC; four grandchildren, Eric Merck, Amber Angell, Kim Lamb, and Richard Blackwell; two great grandchildren, Millie Angell and Ellen Blackwell; and one sister. She also leaves a special neighbor, Julie Glouse and a dear cousin, Wilma Bell.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 2:00pm the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 - 1:45pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pickens County Meals on Wheels, 349 Edgemont Avenue, Liberty, SC 29657.
