Dorothy V. Davis

Dorothy V. Davis, 98, of Piedmont, wife of the late William Irvin Davis, passed away January 7, 2021.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late James and Lela Fox Vickery. Mrs. Davis received a Master's Degree from Upper Iowa University. She worked in Management for the United States Navy and after retiring from her government career started working as an accountant for Bi-Lo, retiring after twenty five years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, staying active and loved to travel. She was an active member of Easley First Baptist Church and volunteered for hospice.
She is survived by her daughter, Wilma D. Orr; grandchildren, Rebecca O. Miller and W. Terrell Orr (Elianna); great grandchildren, Jessica M. Keenan (David), Ashten Orr Muse (T.J), Alexis Orr, Grace Orr; great-great grandchildren, Tinley Stone, Riley Goodale, Colton Orr and Willow Keenan.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her siblings, Manly F. Vickery, Joyce V. Sherman and George F. Vickery and great grandson, Austin Terrell Orr.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Easley First Baptist Church.
Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
