Dorothy Ann Finley Bort

Dorothy Ann Finley Bort, 74, wife of the late Ronald Bort, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

 Born in Liberty, SC, she was a daughter of William Alvin and Virginia Evelyn Stegall Finley. Dorothy was a seamstress in the textile industry and was of Baptist faith.

 She loved her family and her pet dogs and was an avid historian of her own family history. Dorothy was a “tell it like it is” lady who enjoyed life. 

 Dorothy is survived by several siblings; numerous nieces and nephews and many extended family members

 A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
