Dorothy Mason Galloway, 80, of 1257 N. Old Pendleton Rd., wife of Tommy Galloway, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at her home.
Born June 1, 1933 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Elbert and Florence Sosebee Mason. Mrs. Galloway retired from Glenwood Mills after ten years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of forty years, she is survived by her children, Debra Simpson (Lain), Danny Cochran (Suzie); sister, Berlene Miller; grandchildren, Richie, Shannon, Joey, Robbie, Kevin, Amanda, Brad, Joey, and Scottie, and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Chucky Cochran; daughter, Patti Boggs; and brother, Robert Mason.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park, Greer.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of South Carolina, 4124 Clemson Blvd., Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621 or American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Rd, Greenville, SC 29615.
