Dorothy Gambrell Gunnin, 93, formerly of Clemson and widow of Emery A. Gunnin, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 in Montrose, Colorado.
Born in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Lillian Brooks Gambrell. She was a homemaker and a member of Clemson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, William W. Gunnin of Montrose, Colorado; a daughter, Patricia Brooks of Lexington, SC; and 5 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Emery A. Gunnin, Jr. of Pearland, TX.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 4pm at Woodland Cemetery on the campus of Clemson University. The family will receive friends at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home from 1-3pm Thursday prior to the service.
Flowers are to be omitted.
