Dorothy Holtzclaw

Dorothy Lusk Holtzclaw, 85, widow to the late Ervin T. Holtzclaw, of 3174 Dacusville Highway, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014, at her daughter's residence.
Mrs. Holtzclaw was born in Honea Path, SC, on October 27, 1929, to the late Furman David and Eleanor Elizabeth Todd Lusk, Sr... She graduated Greenville High School, and had an associate's degree from Winthrop College (now University) in Business. She retired as a manager for the Amerada-Hess Corporation and in her free time enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Holtzclaw was a Red Hatter, and a member of Dacusville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Holtzclaw is survived by a daughter; Elizabeth "Libby" Cox (fianc�- Rickey), of Easley; a granddaughter, Brittany Holtzclaw; and two identical twin great-granddaughters; Aaliyah Marie and Alexandria Cataleia Owen.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Johnny M. Cox; and a brother, Furman D. Lusk, Jr.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
