Dorothy Hudgens House, of 500 Downs Loop and widow of Harry Reginald House, Jr., died July 4, 2013 at the Clemson Downs Nursing Center.
Born, September 10, 1925, in Clinton (Laurens County) SC, she was the daughter of the late John Moore and Sara Bryson Hudgens. She had three sisters, the late Laura Hudgens Jenkins, the late Dorcas Hudgens Copeland, and the late Eleanor Hudgens. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Surviving is a nephew, Kerry Koon (Carol) of Charleston, SC; and great nieces, Lolly, Ginger and Kimberly.
Memorial services for both Dorothy and her husband, Harry will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church.
A committal service will take place in New Prospect Church Cemetery in Laurens, SC at a later date.
