Dorothy Beveridge Joyce

Mrs. Dorothy Beveridge Joyce (96), widow of Frank M. Joyce entered into rest on Monday, June 08, 2009 at Morningside of Seneca Assisted Living.
She was the daughter of the late Archibald and Alice Hess Beveridge. She was preceded in death by two brothers, LTC John R. Beveridge and Albert H. Beveridge.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest GA on Saturday June 13 at 2PM.
The family will receive friends at the gravesite prior to the service.
Mrs. Joyce was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada and had lived in Clemson since 1968. She was an active and committed member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for over 60 years. Patriotism , love of country and appreciation for family heritage were hallmarks of her daily life.
Mrs. Joyce is survived by a niece, Alice A. Beveridge, a nephew, Albert H. Beveridge and his wife Laura and three great nephews, Connor R. Beveridge, Grayson A. Beveridge and Tanner H. Beveridge, all of Augusta, GA. The family would like to thank the staff of Morningside of Seneca Assisted Living for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Tamassee DAR School, PO Box 8, Tamassee SC 29686 or your charity of choice.
