Dorothy "Dot" Mae McConnell Legan, 55, of 872 Dalton Road, died Thursday January 11, 2007 at her home.
Born in Marietta, she was a daughter of Frances Reaves McConnell, of Marietta and the late Louie Bolt McConnell. Mrs. Legan earned a degree in accounting and was a staff member of the McAngus-Goudelock and Courier Law Firm in Greenville. She was a member of Jones Hill Church of God.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Barry Wilmarth Legan, of the home ; a brother, Harvey McConnell, of Marietta and a sister, Mary Case, of Waterloo.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Jones Hill Church of God conducted by the Reverend Gordon H. Hager. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the church.
The family is at the residence.
