Dorothy Ann Link

Dorothy Ann Link, 58, of National Health Care in Anderson, SC, died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at An Med Health. A native of Pendleton she was the daughter of the late Paul Barney and Nettie Evans Link. She was a previous resident of Anderson Community Residences on Holly Street and for many years attended the workshop at Anderson County Disabilities and Special Needs Board.

She is survived by brothers: Tom and wife Diane Link of Chelsea, AL, Joe and wife Judy Link and John and wife Terri Link all of Pendleton; sister: Phyllis and husband Layne Simpson of Simpsonville, sister-in-law, Wayne Link of Pendleton. She has numerous nieces and nephews and many life-long friends. She was predeceased in death by a sister, Jean Link Bailey and a brother, Evan "Bud" Link.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 3:00pm at Bishop Branch Baptist Church (formerly Corinth #2) Central, SC with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:45 at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Anderson Community Residence Parents Club, 1705 Holly Street, Anderson, SC 29625, or the Special Olympics, Area 14, PO Box 1049, Anderson, SC 29622. The families are at their respective homes.
