Dorothy Freeman Fowler McDonald, 85, of Seneca, widow of David McDonald, died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Estelle Bitter Freeman. She was a retired textile employee and attended Cannon Memorial Church in Central.

Surviving are a son, Lonnie Fowler of Seneca; daughters, Sharon Crooks and Patricia Walters both of Seneca; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sons, Bobby Fowler, Gerald Fowler and Ricky Boykin; and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be 3:30 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Newry Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:15 PM, Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
