Dorothy Blume Scarborough, 83, of 116 Falling Springs Road died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Mallie Bolt Blume and Lawrence Blume, Sr. She was a former manager with Garrett's Clothing in Clemson and was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Michele (Shelley) Roper (Roger) of Central and Susan Nash (Dennis) of Seneca; brother, Lawrence Blume, Jr. (Patricia) of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Ann Vermillion and Sue McCullough both of Anderson, SC; 6 grandchildren, Chad Roper (Melanie), Camille Mondelli (Matthew), Clif Roper (Tara), Kacy Roper, Hannah Nash and Haley Nash; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11 AM, Friday in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
The family is at the home of Roger and Shelley Roper, 116 Falling Springs Road, Central, SC 29630.
Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to The Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
