Dorothy Robbins Vedder

Dorothy Robbins Vedder died on Sept. 29, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late S. James and Bernice B. Robbins and the wife of Edwin H. Vedder, also deceased.

A native of New York State, she and her husband, upon retirement, moved from Buffalo, NY to Clemson, SC in 1980.  Mrs. Vedder had been a resident of the Foothills Retirement Community since it opened in 1998.

She is survived by her son, Douglas James Yensan, who resides in Charlottesville, VA; three grandchildren, Laura Anne Mowbray, Jonathan Conrad Yensan, and Jennifer Robbins Davis; and eight great grandchildren, all residents of Virginia.  Also surviving is a stepson, Ronald E. Vedder, of Leesburg, FL.

Mrs. Vedder was a member of Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
