Dorothy Louise Newman Whitmire, 87, wife of William Whitmire, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Born in Hendersonville, NC, she was a daughter of the late S.M. and Mary Ellen Newman.
Dorothy spent her career as a Biology and Physical Education Teacher in Hendersonville, NC.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her son William Whitmire Jr. (Tracy) and, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Yorkie, Tiger.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 - 4:30 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Esso Club in Clemson, SC..
