Mrs. Doris Oates "Dot" Tant, 79, of 502 South C St., wife of Howard Tant, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at her home.
Born February 5, 1933 in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson and Mary Lou Stone Oates. She was a homemaker and a member of Welcome Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of sixty three years, she is survived by her daughter, Susan Dodgens (Leroy); grandson, Cory Dodgens; and special nephew Randy Cobb.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pickens County Meals on Wheels, 704 South Pendleton St., Easley, SC 29640.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Earline Roper, Mary Gray, Darlene McCurdy, Shelia Galloway and Bonnie Lusk for their kind care and support.
