Ms. Dottie Ruth Oxendine, 81, of Easley, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Red Springs, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Addie L. Oxendine.
Ms. Oxendine was a retired small business owner of A Permanent Impression where she worked as an esthetician.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Lynn and Walter Eugene Burnett, with whom she lived. Two grandsons, Brad Burnett of Easley and Josh Burnett (Hillary) of Greenville; a brother, Hudell Oxendine of Greer, SC; and two sisters, Dora Lee Burns and Allie Ree Carver of Greenville. She was predeceased by two brothers; Henry Oxendine and Hubert Oxendine, both of Baltimore, Maryland, and two sisters Vergie Oxendine and Juanita Chavis of Lumberton, North Carolina.
Because her daughter was the recipient of such wonderful care, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
Private Funeral Services will be held.
The family is at the residence.
