Doyle Ray Carr

Doyle Ray Carr, 78, of Seneca, husband to Judy Carr, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 23, 2024.

Born in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Ernest Carr and Flora Cox Carr. He worked for thirty-five years with UPS, retired as the Regional Labor Manager. After retirement he accomplished a life-long goal by obtaining his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University. Doyle proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, Anna Calhoun Clemson Society, Phi Kappa Phi, Veterans National Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was proud to assist the City of Clemson with becoming recognized as a Monarch City. 

He is survived by his wife, Judy Cibulka Carr; daughters, Deb Carr of Alpharetta, GA, Teresa Kunkel and husband Mike of Maple Valley, WA, and Sherri Marie Carr of Seneca; grandchildren, Matthew Kunkel and Elizabeth Kunkel; sister, Tina Jones and husband Charlie of Loveland, OH.

Doyle was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Ed Carr.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Seneca, SC, at a later date.
