Doyle Reese Cromer, 60, of 102 Pine Forest Drive, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Greenville County, a son of Barbara McAbee Cromer of Fort Mill, and the late Elmer R. Cromer, Mr. Cromer retired from the United States Air Force and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church where he belonged to the Adult Fellowship Sunday School Class.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Debbie Bryant Cromer of the home; twin daughters, Sonya Hackel of Salt Lake City, UT, and Tonya Bishop of Anchorage, AK; two brothers, Greg Cromer of Easley, and Steve Cromer of Fort Mill; two sisters, Cindy Wood of Greenville, and Kelly Anders of Powdersville; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Hackel of Salt Lake City, UT. In addition to his father, Mr. Cromer was predeceased by a brother, Dana Cromer, and by a grandson, Mason Bishop.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Andrew United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry Cannon and Rev. Leland Stephens officiating.

Military honors will be conducted immediately following the service.

Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the church, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 309 Pelzer Highway, Easley, SC 29642.

The family is at the residence.
