Mr. Doyle Holbert Davis, 85, husband of Trula Childs Davis, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, August 28, 2017.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Henry Holbert and Katomah Crenshaw Davis, Mr. Davis retired from Ryobi Corporation with 38 years of service and was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife of 54 years, are sons, Thomas Davis (Kim) of Pendergrass, GA and J. Nathanael Davis (Heike) of Oklahoma City, OK; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Davis of the home; brothers, Donald Davis (Jean) of Pickens, Hoyle Davis (Lucy) of Greenville and Douglas Davis (Brenda) of Pickens; sisters, Inez Duncan of Pickens, Yvonne Edens (Dwight) of Marietta and Juanita Burgess (Jack) of Augusta, SC; and a granddaughter, Chancey Faith Davis of Pendergrass, GA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was predeceased by brothers, Norman and Truman Davis; and sisters, Roselle Anderson and Avanelle Crane.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2017, at Concord Baptist Church in Pickens. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM on Friday, September 1, 2017, at Concord Baptist Church.

The family is at the home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Carolina.
