Mr. Doyle Edmond Johnson, 87, husband of the late Frances Elizabeth Thomason Johnson, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Albert Franklin Johnson and the late Mettie Finley Johnson Ball, Mr. Johnson was a retired carpenter and a member of Galilee Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are a son, John T. Johnson (Ashli) of Powdersville; a brother, Olin Johnson (Bobbie) of Easley; a sister, Dorothy Sink of Liberty; a granddaughter, Victoria Jade Johnson of Powdersville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Johnson was predeceased by a sister, Vivian Black.

Funeral services will be Noon Friday, December 27, 2019 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in the Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

The family is at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, John and Ashli Johnson.
