Dub Garren

Mr. William Thomas "Dub" Garren, 90, husband of the late Faye McCall Garren, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Sedrick H. Garren and the late Effie Brown Garren, Mr. Garren retired from Woodside Mills. He had a passion for cars and bicycles which led him to owning and operating Garren's Used Cars. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Vickie Garren Smith (Richard) of Easley; two grandchildren, Scott Smith of Augusta, GA, and Ricky Smith (Patsy) of Easley; two great-grandchildren, Austin Smith and Aimee Smith Winchester (Daniel); a soon to be born great-great-grandson, Boone Winchester; a special friend, Delores Donehue of Easley, and his furbaby, Baby. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Garren was predeceased by three brothers, Ossie, Ed, and Bunk Garren; and a sister, Mary Inez Ellenburg.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with Rev. Scott Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Richard Smith.
