Berry Earl Trotter , Jr., 83, of Magnolia's Living Center, died Monday, August 03, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital.

Mr. Trotter was born in Pickens County and was the son of the late Berry Earl, Sr. and Ada McKee Trotter. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, was a retired owner of Skate A Round USA and a former electrical superintendent with Davis Electrical. Mr. Trotter was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Trotter is survived by a son, Reverend Bo Trotter and his wife Evelyn of Easley; a son-in-law, Ronald K. Houston of Easley; three grandchildren, Chip Trotter and his wife Jeanan, Chris Trotter and his wife Jolee and Christy Sloan and her husband, Rick and eight great- grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Trotter was predeceased by his wife, Ellen Powers Trotter and a daughter, Mary Jane Houston;

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, officiated by Reverends Bo Trotter and Mike Cox. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of the son at 731 Shefwood Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
