Dessie Earline Lyles Brucke, 67, wife of Bobby Brucke, died Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. A native of Oconee County she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Irene Petty Lyles. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband she is survived by sons: William Howard Brucke (Jan) of Liberty and Dwayne Allen Brucke (Christina) of Lexington, SC; daughter, Kathy Elaine Lambertson (William) of Gray Court, SC; sisters, Mary Lou Lyles of Westminster, Hazel Lee of Walhalla, Louise Kelly of Seneca, Dorothy Smith, Ruth Blackwell and Jane McClain all of Westminster; grandchildren, Nikki Carson, Natalie Welanetz and Jessica Brucke all of Liberty and Zoe Lambertson of Gray Court; great-grandchildren, Katherine and Mya Carson of Liberty. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Ruby Culp and Juanita Lyles and brother, Bud Lyles.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8pm. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
The family will be at the residence, 234 Church Street, Pendleton, SC 29670.
