Earline Holcombe Roper

Mrs. Earline Holcombe Roper, 77, wife of the late Julius Benson "Benny" Roper, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 21, 2021.
Born in Piedmont, SC, a daughter of the late Parley Holcombe and the late Mary Hester Finley Holcombe, Mrs. Roper retired from Carolina Formed Fabrics and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Pickens.
Surviving are her daughter, Patricia R. Spearman and her husband, Alvin A. Spearman, of Easley; a step-son, Benny Ray Roper of Dallas, TX; a brother, J. Roy Holcombe (Shirley) of Easley; a sister, Jewell D. Durham (Haskell) of Gaffney; her granddaughter, Leslie A. Roper of Easley; and her two great-grandchildren, Abby and Pagan Creel. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Roper was predeceased by three brothers, James L. Holcombe, Johnny O. Holcombe, and Herman R. Holcombe; and five sisters, Elizabeth Gibson, Eula M. Hudson, Vederebell Jameson, Bertha E. Patterson, and Beatrice Gantt.
