Ed Vaughn, 86, died Thursday at his home.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Tom and Emma Carter Vaughn. He was a member of Slabtown Baptist Church.
He is survived by close friends and adopted family, Charlene and Hoke Cox and family.
Graveside services will be 2 PM, Sunday at Flat Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. George Tate officiating.
Memorials may be made to charity of one's choice.
