Grady Edward Whitman, 57, of 1719 Refuge Road, husband of Kathy Whitman, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Anderson Area Medical Center.
He was a native of Anderson County, SC and was the son of the late Clem Jackson Whitman and the late Gladys Holmes Whitman. He attended the La France Church of God and was a pattern technician at Mt. Vernon Mills in La France. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kayla Whitman of the home; a brother, Donnie Whitman of Pendleton and two sisters, Brenda Thrasher and Denise Whitman of Pendleton. He was predeceased by a brother, Allen Whitman.
Funeral serves will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home , Central-Clemson Commons , 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC 29630 , officiated by Reverend Marion Snyder
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.
