Edgar Theodore "Teddy" Hunter, Jr., husband to the late Carol Elaine Henderson Hunter, passed away Friday, January 27, 2021 at his home.

Teddy was born in Greensboro, NC, son of the late Edgar T. and Lila Mae James Hunter.  He was the long time owner of Mac's Drive In in Clemson and had a love for classic cars.  He and Elaine enjoyed their time together going to car shows, where they won many awards.

He is survived by his sons, Harold "Mackey" Hunter and wife, Angela of Abbeville and Pat Hunter of Clemson; daughter-in-law, Alice W. Hunter; grandchildren, Casey Hunter, Alexander Hunter and Brittany Rholinger.

In addition to his wife and parents, Teddy was predeceased by his son, Richey Hunter; daughter, Tracy Richards; and sisters, Jane McAlister and Linda Westbrooks.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 1:00 to 1:45 PM, prior to the service at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home & Cremations.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with a private burial to be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central.
