Edith "Juanita" Culbertson

Mrs. Edith Juanita Norwood Culbertson, 90, wife of the late Clarence Allen Culbertson, Sr., passed away Sunday, May 4, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late Joe and Maggie Kelley Norwood, Mrs. Culbertson received her associate degree from Columbia College and retired from Union Carbide. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Simpsonville and attended Tabor United Methodist Church, Pickens. Juanita was a loving wife and mother who loved traveling and mall shopping.
Surviving are a son, Clarence Allen Culbertson, Jr. of Simpsonville; two daughters, Roxanne C. Swan (Verne) of Easley, and Charlene C. Young of Irmo; a sister, Ella Mae Bundy of Newport, TN; and two grandsons, Jonathan and Michael Carbaugh. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Culbertson was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Graceland East Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
