Edith Cisson Evans

Edith Cisson Evans, 96, of Easley, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 11, 2017.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Leila Farmer Cisson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William Woodrow Evans.

Edith was a member of Berea First Baptist Church for 56 years.

Surviving are her two sons, Benny Evans, of Easley and Danny Evans (Louise), of Easley; her daughter, Judith Pilgrim (Tim), of Virginia Beach, VA; and one grandson, Marc Pilgrim.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, October 13, 2017 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
