Edith Morehouse Maxey, 94, of 1850 Crestview Road, wife of the late Reverend I. Parker Maxey, died Tuesday May 1, 2007 at Blue Ridge Living Center.
Born in Emmett, Idaho, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Sylvia Hopper Morehouse. Mrs. Maxey was a registered nurse and a devoted minister's wife. She was a member of the Bible Missionary Church.
Surviving are four sons, Ross P. Maxey, of Cabot, Arkansas, Gary S. Maxey, of Moline, Illinois, Lee E. Maxey, of Seattle Washington and Paul S. Maxey, of Racine, Wisconsin ; a daughter, Keren Ibebunjo, of Easley, SC ; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday May 8, 2007 at Trimble Funeral Home in Moline, Illinois. Burial wil follow in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Iowa.
