Edith Bloodworth Nix, 89, formerly of Easley, wife of the late Hezekiah Nix, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Seneca Health & Rehab in Seneca.
Born in Lawrenceville, GA, the daughter of the late Thomas G. and Verdie Westbrooks Bloodworth, Mrs. Nix retired from the Glenwood Plant of Mayfair Mills and was a member of Glenwood Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Nix Petty and husband, Neil, of Leesville; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Harold Nicholson officiating.
The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to the Activity Fund of Seneca Health & Rehab, 140 Tokeena Road, Seneca, SC 29672.
