Edith Staniford Schoffstall, 80, of 300 Elmwood St., wife of Eugene Schoffstall, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at her home.
Born July 6, 1932 in Liverpool, England, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Gladys Nixxon Staniford. Mrs. Schoffstall was a homemaker and a long time member of Easley First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Pickens County Historical Society and the Seekers Group.
In addition to her husband of sixty years, she is survived by her children, Karen Fisher, Valerie DeWitt and David Schoffstall (Panzy); sister, Valerie Trewartha, grandchildren, Kyle DeWitt (Michelle), Jennifer Fisher, Matthew DeWitt, Sarah Schoffstall and Emily Schoffstall; great-grandchildren, Caleb DeWitt and Gabriel DeWitt.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Easley First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Rd., Greenville, SC 29615.
