Edith JoAnn Cooley Williams, 77, wife of Robert Charles Williams, of Easley, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022.
Born in Piqua, OH she was the daughter of the late William Cleveland and Beulah Jo Campbell Cooley.
Mrs. Williams worked as a welder with Copelands and later as an assembler with Emerson Climate Tech. She was a member of the Silver Sneakers group in Seneca and attended Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Piedmont. She loved her crafts and crocheting and spending time in her garden.
In addition to her loving husband of almost 62 years, Mrs. Williams is survived by a son, Mike Levon Williams (Kimmie) of Easley; grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth Anderson (Josh), Timothy Ryan Mullen (Ashley), and Joseph Gavin Moore; great-grandchildren, Anna Grace and Madeline Grey Anderson, Ryleigh Belle and Magnolia Grace Bastedo, and Serenity Johnston-Burress; and a brother, William Cleveland Cooley.
She was preceded in death by sons, Roger Allen and Theodore Allen Williams; and sisters, Willie Mae Cooley, and Betty Carolynette.
