Edith Lackey Wisham, 87, life long resident of Central, SC, gained her angel wings, Sunday, August 29, 2021 at her home. She was of the baptist faith.
Edith was the daughter of the late John and Maebell Lackey. She retired from West Point Stevens and was cofounder of the former Floral Wishes of Central. She gained the nickname "SPEEDY" due to her frequent speeding violations. She treasured her time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren more than anything else. Her other passion in life was shopping and enjoying pumpkin rolls along with many other sweets.
She was wife of the late Audrey Mott "Bill" Wisham. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws, Larry and Pam Wisham of Central, Dale and Debbie Wisham of Central; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Billy Mullinax of Six Mile; grandchildren, Jason Wisham (Heather), Hunter Wisham; and granddaughter, Meggan Mullinax; great grandchildren, Dylan Whitaker, Dawson Whitaker, Dustin Reece, Drey Mullinax, Riley Wisham, Hayden Wisham and Parker Wisham.
In addition to her husband, Edith was predeceased by her son, John Wisham; grandson, Dusty Mullinax; brother, Frank Lackey; and sisters, Anniebell Chappell and Betty Sue Cantrell.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, September 3, 2021 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home & Cremations with Rev. Jonathan Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
