Edna Jameson Bagwell, 85, of 7014 Highway 81 North, wife of the late Alvin I.V. Bagwell, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at her home.
Born in Liberty, a daughter of the late Walter John and Vivian Baugh Jameson, Mrs. Bagwell retired as a teacher at Wren High School after forty-five years of service. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where she belonged to the Webb Pepper Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a son, Mike Bagwell and wife, Cathy, of Piedmont; a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Bagwell of Easley; two brothers, Ross Jameson of Liberty and Madison Jameson of Easley; two sisters, Camilla Riddle of Greenwood and Orene Brinson of Anderson; four grandchildren, Shannon Bagwell of Easley, Sgt. 1st Class Brandon Bagwell of Fort Hood, TX, Caroline Tripp of Easley and Carson Bagwell of Piedmont; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bagwell was predeceased by a son, Richard Alvin Bagwell.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30 until 8:30 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
