EDNA B. BROCK Pendleton
Edna Branyon Brock, 88, widow of Grady Brock, went to her eternal home Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC. A native of Anderson County she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Rosa Smith Branyon. She was a life-long active member of the Faith Fellowship Baptist Church serving as a SS Teacher, WMU Director and Training Union Director.
She is survived by sons: Edward (Alene) Brock and Thomas (Pat-deceased) Brock of Pendleton and Charles (Martha) Brock of Pickens; daughters: Evelyn (John) Medlin of Six Mile and Barbara (Lamar) Entrekin and Alma (Marion) Rollins of Central; brother, Charles Branyon of Greenville; sisters: Pauline Mullinax of Anderson and Sylvene Jones of Columbia, 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters, 1 grandchild and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1pm at the Faith Fellowship Baptist Church, Pendleton, SC with burial to follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson. The family will receive friends at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Thursday. The body will be placed in the church at 12 noon prior to the service. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the Faith Fellowship Building Fund, 2230 Old Greenville Hwy., Pendleton, SC 29670. The family will be at the home of a grandson, Tommy Brock, 431 Spake Road, Pendleton, SC 29670.
