Edna Ruth Chappell Hardin, 66, passed away March 6, 2013 at her home in Easley.
Born in Easley, to the late Franklin and Lois Phillips Chappell, Mrs. Hardin attended Easley High School and afterwards, began her career as a private nurse. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her granddaughter, enjoying meals with her family, and shopping for new clothes. She was a member of Tremont Church of God and also attended Redemption World Outreach.
Surviving are a son, Brad Philbeck (Kim Harris); a granddaughter, Brianna Philbeck; and a brother, Terry Chappell, all of Easley.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Gary and Billy Chappell.
A graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
A visitation will immediately follow the service at the cemetery.
The family is at the home.
