Edna Alma Neuman Harvey, 100, of Clemson Downs and widow of Francis K. Harvey, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 28, 2010.
She was born on a farm near Hebron, ND and was the eighth of nine children. She wrote "Memories of The Jacob Neuman Family as Pioneers in North Dakota" for her family.
Edna graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, married her husband in 1934, taught elementary school for many years in the Grove City Ohio school system as well as giving private piano lessons. She was an active member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Columbus, OH.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Judy and Paul Porter of Seneca, SC and Susan and Andre Patry of Princeton, British Columbia, Canada; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2010 in the chapel of Schoedinger Funeral Services, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
