Edna Horton Holliday, 86, formerly of Central died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC.
A native of Central, she was the daughter of the late Millard M. and Olivia Collins Horton. Edna was a member of Central First Baptist Church and retired from the Clemson University Library.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Walter (J.W.) Holliday and is survived by her daughter, Deborah Blackston and her husband, Bill of Rock Hill; a brother, J.D. Horton of Central; two sisters, Bernice Loggins and Betty Parker both of Central; a grandson, Jason Wilson and his wife, Erin of Greenville, SC; granddaughter, Melissa Dunkerley and her husband, Mike of Summerville, SC; great-grandsons, Landon Dykes, Zachary Wilson and Eli Dunkerley; step-grandsons, Brad Blackston, Matt Blackston and his wife, Amanda all of Rock Hill; and a step-great-granddaughter, Madison Blackston.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Tuesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:45 AM, Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
