Edna Nalley Orr, 88, of Orr Road, wife of the late Alvin Alexander Orr, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Martha Franks Retirement Home.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late George and Maude Derryberry Nalley, Mrs. Orr retired from Martin's Sporting Equipment Company and was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, William Anthony "Tony" Orr (Marion) of Easley; three daughters, Linda Monroe (Barry) of Hickory Tavern, Debbie Miller of Salem and Terri Neal of Fountain Inn; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday at Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be placed in church at 1:30 PM Sunday where the family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 PM, prior to the service.
There will also be a memorial service at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Martha Franks Retirement Center in Laurens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 210 Mt. Airy Baptist Church Road, Easley, SC 29642.
